Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using Ghaym's websites, products, and services. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every account, service, and piece of content on the platform.

Version 1.0 — effective 2026-08-17

1. Prohibited content and activities

You may not use Ghaym's services to host, store, distribute, promote, advertise, sell, or link to any of the following:

  1. 1.1. Content that is unlawful under the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan or under any other applicable law.
  2. 1.2. Pornography, adult content, and sexually explicit material of any kind.
  3. 1.3. Child sexual abuse material. Accounts hosting it are terminated immediately and reported to the competent authorities.
  4. 1.4. Gambling and betting of any kind, including casinos, sports betting, lotteries, and games of chance played for money.
  5. 1.5. Tobacco, vaping, and other smoking products.
  6. 1.6. Alcohol.
  7. 1.7. Narcotics, controlled substances, recreational drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
  8. 1.8. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives.
  9. 1.9. Phishing, credential harvesting, fraud, and the impersonation of any person or organization.
  10. 1.10. Malware, viruses, ransomware, botnets, command-and-control infrastructure, and any other tooling designed to compromise systems or data.
  11. 1.11. Unsolicited bulk email or messaging (spam), and any infrastructure that supports it.
  12. 1.12. Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any party.
  13. 1.13. Cryptocurrency mining of any kind.
  14. 1.14. Content that promotes hatred, violence, terrorism, or discrimination against any individual or group.
  15. 1.15. Anything that is haram — prohibited under Islamic principles — whether or not it is listed above and whether or not it is lawful where you are.

2. Uses that require our prior written approval

The following uses are not prohibited outright, but we review them case by case. Deploying them without our prior written approval is a breach of this policy:

  1. 2.1. Dating and matchmaking applications.
  2. 2.2. Interest-based financial services, including conventional lending and interest-bearing financial products.
  3. 2.3. Entertainment platforms, including music and video streaming services.
  4. 2.4. Reselling the Service, or offering it to third parties as part of your own hosting product.

3. Prohibited conduct

Regardless of what your services host, you may not:

  1. 3.1. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, to other customers' services, or to any system or network.
  2. 3.2. Scan, probe, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without the owner's authorization.
  3. 3.3. Launch denial-of-service attacks, or any other attack against a third party, from the platform.
  4. 3.4. Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by consuming resources in a way intended to exhaust platform capacity.
  5. 3.5. Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, any limit, quota, billing mechanism, verification step, or suspension, including by operating multiple accounts.
  6. 3.6. Use the Service in any way that exposes Ghaym or its other customers to legal liability.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate any suspected breach of this policy. Where we find a breach, we may remove content, suspend or terminate the affected service or account, and disclose information to law enforcement or other competent authorities — with or without prior notice, depending on the seriousness of the breach.

Fees already incurred are not refunded where we take enforcement action under this policy.

5. Reporting abuse

To report content or activity that breaches this policy, email abuse@ghaym.me with the URL concerned and a description of the issue. We review every report we receive.

Information you send us in an abuse report is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version and effective date at the top of this page show the current revision.
